1. Service
Reflash Lab is a service of Cyber System Technologies LLC. We install an agreed Android operating system and any separately agreed software or configuration on a customer-owned phone. The exact phone, requested work, price, and shipping instructions must be confirmed before shipment.
2. Your responsibilities
You confirm that you own the phone or are authorized by its owner to request the work. You are responsible for backing up data, removing accounts and activation locks, accurately identifying the phone, disclosing faults and damage, confirming the requested setup, removing physical SIM and SD cards, packing the phone safely, and keeping outbound shipment records.
Operating-system installation erases the phone. The service does not include data backup, account recovery, data migration, or data recovery unless separately agreed in writing.
3. Price, payment, and additional fees
A completed standard Android OS installation costs $200. Applicable tax and standard return shipping within the contiguous United States are included. You pay outbound shipping and any requested return upgrade, signature service, or additional carrier coverage.
- A $50 charge may apply if work has begun and the phone cannot be completed because it is locked, incorrectly identified, affected by an undisclosed condition, or the request is cancelled.
- Changing the requested operating system after work begins costs $50.
- If a retailer ships a different phone than the approved listing, no labor charge applies; the customer pays any retailer-return or shipping costs.
- If Reflash Lab approved the wrong phone or made another service error, there is no labor charge and Reflash Lab pays standard return shipping.
- If the phone and request were accurate but the agreed work cannot be completed because of an upstream or device-specific problem, only return shipping is charged.
Custom software, root-related work, unusual builds, applications, and configuration outside the standard installation are priced as agreed for the request. Payment is due within seven days after the work is completed and before return shipping.
4. Completed work
We test the agreed operating system and additions for basic boot and update behavior and provide a summary of the work completed. App services, mobile carriers, upstream projects, and phone manufacturers can change after the phone leaves Reflash Lab, so results outside the agreed work are not guaranteed.
5. Damage and loss
Customer phones are not insured to their full cash value against theft, fire, or vandalism while held by Reflash Lab. If Reflash Lab causes irreparable damage, liability is limited to the phone’s current fair value up to $500. These limits do not reduce rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
6. Unpaid or unclaimed phones
Storage is charged at $5 per day beginning 30 days after payment becomes due or return arrangements are requested. Beginning on day 100, Reflash Lab may start the notice and disposition process required by applicable law. Ownership does not transfer automatically.
